Our custom tours are designed for groups who have something specific in mind. We create custom itineraries and can take you into any of the wine regions in Tuscany.

Visit the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG wine region, one of the warmest and driest climates in Tuscany, producing powerful and complex reds on its southern slopes and racier more aromatic wines on the northern slopes. This region arguably boasts the world’s best expression of the Sangiovese grape varietal.

Neighboring Vino Nobile of Montepulciano DOCG was Italy’s first DOCG wine. The wine has been celebrated throughout history as the wine of the nobles (hence the name). Like most central Italian red wines it’s made predominantly from the Sangiovese varietal (locally know as prugnolo gentile). The region produces versatile wines with light tannins and cleansing acidity, which make them perfect for local dishes.

Tuscany’s newcomer, Bolgheri DOC, with its coastal microclimate and wonderful soils, became famous for the non-traditional ‘Super Tuscan’ wines. These were big juicy red wines typically produced from international grape varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. This has become a ritzy and modern wine zone with exceptional, not so traditional, wines.

Get to the heart of Chianti Classico DOCG. No other traditional wine zone has seen such vast changes and improvement in quality as Chianti Classico. The wine zone has undergone a transition over the last few decades, elevating it back up as a world leader. This is no longer the place where your grandfather bought wicker-covered bottles that were more valuable than the wine itself.

Not so into wine? Let us know what you want to do, and we’ll try our best to get you set up. We’ve done tours for photographers, guests who like to hike or bike, and tours for guests who just want to eat great food and see beautiful places.

Let us know what you hope to get from the day, and we’ll help you create a special Tuscan experience.
